Happy New Year! (well...almost)

Happy almost New Year!

I'm so bad at making and keeping resolutions...so I typically don't make them.
But when I was introduced to the idea of a One Word resolution....
I thought that was something I could do!

I didn't have too tough of a time thinking of one word that would resonate throughout 2015.
My one word is:

I want to do so much more this year.
More patience.
More exercise.
More kindness.
More hopefulness.
More eating....
More love.
And most of all more tutus!!

I'm not very good at resolving to work out more..or eat better or be more organized.
I do think I can resolve to do more of the good things in life.
More of the things that will make me happy.
More of the things that will make me a better daughter, teacher, wife and friend.

What is something you want to do more of?
What is your one word resolution?

  1. Vera, this one struck me right in the gut. I need to do more, too. I'm going to confess that right now I am procrastinating and should be doing MORE to take care of my own things. I love your take on the word more. More of the things that make you a better you. :)

  2. That's an awesome resolution Vera! I could use a little more patience, etc!

  3. That one word says a lot! This is the first year in a LONG time that I have made a resolution for the new year.

  4. Definitely more tutus in 2015! Great word choice!
